Took them down over and over and over. I mean he's no Roy Nelson but he's pretty good at getting the fight to the ground.

Lol, that's right, pick and choose.

Bottom line, as I have repeated, the % are skewed and you know it. It's like the old saying "statistics don't lie but liers use statistics"

I don't think they are, I think the fighters you brought up as examples of proof of JDS' great takedown defense aren't really much for taking people down and their history shows it. Bringing up Nelson is madness.

So anyway your bizarre beliefs that Roy Nelson is a barometer of takedown acumen aside, who you got in the Guida fight?

gotta use what info we got, i mean your talking about cains "great takedown prowess" but who has he shown to be able to take down with such ease? he took brock down 2-3 tries, and was taken down what 2-3 times. outside of brock, who has cain taken down with any defense (i dont know that brock has takedown defense, guys his size never really needed it)? a bunch of stand up fighters with little to no takedown defense?

i gotta go guida by smothering pace and superior wrastlin takedowns.
on a side note, its gonna be hard to tell who is who when all that combined hair starts floppin around.

Ah like Rothwell who Roy Nelson went 1/8 on? The same Roy Nelson who you said "knows how to take the fight to the ground" and is brought up as proof of Cigano's takedown defense? If Rothwell has little to no takedown defense what does that say about Nelson?

Cain took Rothwell down at will, it was almost comical. Either you were wrong on Nelson or Rothwell, you pick.

All I will conceed on that point is the same as I did from the beginning, Cain is a better wrestler then big country. Other then that, your welcome to avoid the rest of the points made as usual. It's all good. As I said it would not surprise me if either guy wins, I'm sticking with the best striker in the division who happens to show above average takedown defense and is rumored to be receiving his black belt in Bjj very soon.

From what I have been reading lately it's only going to show on fox.com or Facebook. I don't think they even know where they are going to show things. Plus what happens when someone (Cain) gets ktfo 30 seconds in the 1st? Lmao. What will fix show then? A bunch of talking???

I was wondering that too, I know they are planning on one fight but if they do get a quick fight can they do like PPV does and use one of the earlier fights as filler if needed?

Maybe they could just loop that scene of the lettuce fields of Yuma AZ where Cain's father worked for the remaining half hour, over and over. I've only seen that about 80 times, could use a few more.
