I'd love for Phil Davis to win, he seems like such a quirky laid back character which is kind of refreshing in this sport. That said this is a serious step up in competition for him and we know his striking hasn't impressed and his chin is untested.

Be interesting to see Rashad facing an even more athletic superior wrestler.

I'd be okay with a Bisping win. He always surprises me with how clever he is on the ground, he's got a real knack for squirming that can neutralize technically superior grapplers. Then again Sonnen has such dominant top control, who knows.

Bispricks only chance to win is his boxing/kickboxing.

That said, much better strikers then mike have not been able to hurt him standing or stop his takedowns

Is Phil Davis moving in slow motion? Such a slow punch for such a explosive looking athlete.

What a boring card, and if Evans couldn't finish off Davis in 5 rounds no chance against Jones.

Phil was completely out classed. Rashad had his number at every turn.

I wasn't excited about the card, now we know why lol.

Credit to bisprick, I think he won, split decision anyway. The 30-27 ref is an idiot.

Prelims where better.

I thought Rashad looked great, he worked Davis on the ground any way he wanted. First time we've seen Davis fighting off his back defensively and it was a pretty sad sight. If Davis doesn't improve that plodding standup in a big way he'll never be a serious contender, all he could land were some kicks and Rashad caught some enough of 'em that it ended up being his advantage anyway.
