net worth so low, 500 thousand Chris Weidman, damn and he's a UFC chamnpion, Jon Jones only 10 million and he's supposed to be the best UFC champion, Floyd will get 100 million in just 36 minutes and Manny 80 million, these UFC guys need to protest this UFC company or something cause what they supposedly do is harder, the heavyweight champion has 900 thousand, ouch
I'm sure their expenses are high for trainers, dieticians, nutritionists, lawyers, etc.
Boxing seems to be more of a mainstream sport than MMA, boxing is much more established and I imagine PPV buy rates are probably higher along with what they can charge for advertising.
Culture: Today everyone "trains UFC" or can or even wants to. With that many people willing to throw down, everyone is far more easily replaceable. People put their kids into "MMA" programs. some even compete. ( i don't agree with this at all) .
Media: Witt social media, and fighting on FFOX, people are desensitized to 2 people willingly doing this crap. they have a fight to watch almost every week, they are taking a WWE approach to promotion and even girls can do it now. lol
I could be wrong but I think the evolution of both spots and society has a lot to do with it. Apart form the hitting, you can't really compare the 2.
