Two stand up headlock escapes(the first starts standing). Which would you prefer to use? Headlocks are one of the most common holds that happen in real fights. So it's good to know how to properly escape them.

When standing I would prefer a headlock escape that doesn't require you to go to the ground. That's what I like about George Kirby's example in the second video. Even though I think the first escape is effective,I just think there can be too many circumstances where you won't have enough space to roll to the ground with an attacker. So knowing how to escape from the headlock standing may be a better option in some situations.
