Fedor for the first time
The fight was outstanding and Fedor's composure was unbelieveable. I thought the fight was over when Rogers was on top punching away. Wow! Those two, were going at it, alot of action especially for such a short fight.
In my opinion, Rogers is a horrible fighter BUT if does not matter when you have dynamite in each hand along with complete superior strength. This was my first Fedor fight. I was very much impressed with his skills. Fedor moving onto the UFC? If so, as of today, I think Lesner is in trouble. Brock, who I like, needs more work. I think Fedor and Frank Mir (sp?) would be a great fight, both are magicians in the ring.
I would like to comment on a prior statement, that Fedor always looks in trouble. If Fedor gets hit alot, that fact will catch up to him. At the time of the fight, he did not show ill effects from Roger's punches but the cumulative effect does take it's toll, punch drunk. Based on that observation, I would say the best way to approach Feder would be to box him?
Great fight!!!

Rogers did well. He gave Fedor a tough challenge. Great fight.

i find it interesting that nobody is mentioning mousasi, IMO he is the best 205er out there. his ground game is very tight, he is extremely accurate, and he packs some nasty hands and feet.
he is the 205 lb none russian vs of fedor. calm cool and collected.
i enjoyed watching shields do his best impression of a wet blanked on miller. miller is the funniest guy in mma by far and i like him but shields BJJ is nasty.
werdum impressed me, not a lot but he did a very nice job.

Mousasi is also in incredible prospect the one fight I want to see with Dan Henderson being a free agent. Is Hendo v Mousasi. Now if he can get past Henderson he is the real deal.

Fedor-Rogers was good. I was actually impressed by Rogers. I gave him a punchers chance on the feet, but I thought Fedor would rip his arm off within 30 seconds on the ground. To those not familiar with Fedor, this was a classic Fedor fight. He looks to be in trouble and then ends it in dramatic fashion. I just wish this 3 fight deal would be up and then he can actually fight in UFC. Fedor-Lesnar would be epic. I think Fedor would get bashed up pretty bad BUT I have a strong feeling he would pull it out. Then he needs to retire, he's been in too many wars.
I thought the Strikeforce card was really good overall. It was better than many of the UFC PPVs and it was FREE. I thought Bigfoot-Werdum, Sokodjou(sp?)-Mousasi and Fedor-Rogers were all very good fights. I was really impressed with the mobility of Bigfoot.

Rogers landed a total of 3 punches, the 1st jab and 2 on the ground and people say he did well?
He did about as good as everyone else imo against Fedor, it is only time before Fedor calculates the timing and finds a weakness.

And pics are surfacing of Fedor the day before the fight and he had a cut on the bridge of his nose he got sparring with his brother Aleksander. So all Brett did was open up that cut with the first punch.

Miller's entrance was definately the best part of that fight... I've never seen an MMA fighter with an entrance like that! That guy definately knows how to play to the crowd... too bad he couldn't get Shields off of him for 85% of the fight.
