Thought you Mobile people would get a kick out of knowing that somebody (your tourism bureau?) is running TV ads in neighboring states about the big "Moonpie Drop" on NY Eve in your faire city, along with discounts at the Battle House, etc. I saw one on the local news here in Savannah tonight. GIANT MOONPIE? Really?! Can you eat it? LOL

Oh lord! It turned out to be a disaster last year. Maybe they can at least get it to work right this time.

@Newsboy....don't laugh at our Moonpie!!! Although I find it to be quite comical myself, it would surprise people to know that the Moonpie drop has been very beneficial to various non profit agencies within the city...especially to those who have been cut from the City of Mobiles budget for 2011. Eventhough it may sound corny and kinda cheesy I believe it does perk some form of interest from surrounding areas.

P.S I love Savannah.....such a culturally rich city!! I pray that Mobile takes note from u guys
