I read years ago that Dunkin Donuts had sold out their franchises in the Gulf Coast area. They had plans to open stores in Mobile and P'Cola. I know they opened one store in P'Cola, does anyone have any idea what happened to the planned stores in Mobile? Just wondering...

I wish I knew. I grew up on Dunkin Donuts and, though they aren't as good as I remember, I far prefer them to Krispy Kreme (WAY too sweet for me). I would love for Dunkin Donuts to come to Mobile (or come back... someone told me there had been one here years ago...)

Dunkin donuts have put up 2 facebook posts recently mentioning mobile. Im not sure if they are implying mobile is getting one or they are lumpng mobile in with pcola. Because the post was something like "whats your favorite donut pcola/mobile?" Someone responded i dont know because we dont have a dunkin donuts in mobile.

I pass by DD in Pensacola pretty often and I never see any cars there. I don't see how they stay open.

I just spent a week up in Gatlinburg and I heard this song every morning, it was used in their local Krispy Kreme radio commercial. Now it's stuck in my head.

Nelly - Just A Dream (Official Video Parody) Big Cheese - Krispy Kreme - YouTube
