Default Moving to Mobile AL soon...help

I'm considering a move to Mobile from Tampa FL for a job opportunity and was told that I should look into either Midtown or across the bay (Spanish-something). Married with 2 kids that will both need to be put in daycare. Before negotiating pay, I'm trying to figure out the cost of a good daycare for a 2 year and 7 month old as well as any good places to look for living arrangements as this will help me figure out where I truly need to fall in order to continue living comfortable there. Being from FL I prefer a rental house so that my kids can have a place to play. I've researched the cost of living but can't seem to get a grasp on the whole daycare thing. Can anyone share some insight on this? Truly appreciated!

Lake Forest Academy in Daphne(close to Midtown and Spanish Fort) is charging 144 for infants and 119 for toddlers a week,Jubilee Childcare Center has locations in Mobile and Spanish Fort they are charging 140 for toddlers and 150 for infants weekly,Oak Park charges 125 for both.Cost varies between child care centers but on average you are looking at 120 a week.

Thanks for your help! This definitely helps me in knowing in advance what I'll be looking at. What kind of salary do you think one would need to make in Mobile with 2 young kids? Would 35k+ cut it? Or do you do think it's best to be like 45k+? I've looked around the web to try to figure out but it doesn't really give you a good idea of what a person should make to live comfortable in Mobile. Any insight is very much appreciated!

I`m sure the cost of living in Mobile is cheaper than Tampa but so many factors are at play such as car note ,will your wife be working and etc. Will it be 45k after or before taxes ?
