If all goes well, it looks like my family and I, (of 4), will be moving to Spanish Fort in the near future. That being said, I've found and looked at 3 apartment complexes in Spanish Fort. Their website pictures look nice, but does anyone know any thing about them or have any recommendations?

Thanks,

G

Just have LOTS of money. Here in Mobile, apartments are too dang overpriced vs income..and Baldwin County..its far worse.

A friend of mine used to live at Bay Breeze in Daphne, and it was a pretty decent complex.

The Arlington near Eastern Shore Centre seems like a great apartment complex. Its within walking distance to shopping and dining options.

Thanks for the responses thus far. Looking at my first post it looks like I forgot to put the 3 I was considering. Thought I'd done that. It's
  • Spanish Fort Town Center Apartments
  • The Arlington at Eastern Shore
  • Vinings at Spanish Fort

You can mortgage a house, plus insurance, lighting and water for half the price it is to rent an apartment. Thats what I did.

I have already bought a home lot in Spanish Fort, but I need some place to live while our house is being built. I had to sell our current home before being able to build the next. Just got a purchase contract yesterday. So this is why I'm looking into apartments in the area.

My family and I stayed at the Arlington in Spanish Fort when we moved here back in 2010 when our first house was being built. We liked it so much we stayed there again when we built our second house last year. It's nicer than the other apartment complexes in my opinion. It's also across the street from the eastern shore centre, restaurants, and Publix. You also don't have breeze ways like the other apartments (my parents liked that) and you can have a garage too if you want. My dad lived at the Spanish Fort Town Center Apartments for a year before the rest of us moved down and he didn't like it at all. I also have had several friends that have lived at the Vinings and wish they would of chose the Arlington instead. The Arlington is a little more expensive than the others if I'm not mistaken, but my parents thought it was worth it. Hope this helps!
