I was being facetious about Greer's (of all chains) developing at Bel Air Mall. It was a reaction to the idea of valuable mall tenant space being carved up for a grocer.

On the other hand, if Target leaves or Cabela's falls through, those buildings would great sites for Trader Joe's or Earthfare.

At this point, you would think Rouse would release more information on new tenants considering the news of several recent store closings. I wonder if Rouse's possible takeover by another company has much bearing on this...

With all that is going on with store closings and relocations, the old stores have to be cleared out or moved before the new ones can go in....

If there was enough demand (and the rumored Cabela's falls through, they could re-mall the space that Parisian (now Belk) took over and connect the dead space leading to Target.

That Target store looks like it did when it opened. What is taking so long that our Target stores look like they haven't been touched? Given their troubles with the whole credit card fiasco and botched entry into Canada, it's going to take a lot to get them to move out of the mall to a new spot if Rouse has a tenant up their sleeve...let alone bring it up to modern-day Target standards.

Springdale has the most potential. The dead spaces and space fillers need to go. Where Belk and Burlington are now could be potential areas where Target could relocate and other re-development could take place to de-mall the remaining dead spaces.

It's more of a kiosk than a built-out restaurant.
