Default White Barn

Looks like White Barn Candle Company is headed to the old Buckle space. Bath and Body Works will probably move to a nearby location.

With word of the Crescent Theater closing and vowing to open elsewhere, what about the former Bel Air cinema? It may need some work though. When was the last time it operated as a cinema?

Default White Barn | Bath and Body Works

Hopefully BB&W and White Barn will have adjacent storefronts - something along the lines of the rendering below. As the former Buckle space is only about 41' in width, while BB&W's current storefront is 42', the old Cache space near Buckle space will be probably be incorporated into the new development.

Bama Fever / Tiger Pride has reopened in another form under a new name that I can't recall at the moment. Probably new ownership running the exact same idea of a Alabama/Auburn fan store.

Also, Rouse has FINALLY updated their website for the Shoppes at Bel Air, since the overhaul of tenants and the mall itself is nearly complete. They even have a "development news" section that shows the new streetscape and the next phase of new tenants, which is the Baumhower's and DXL.

The new Baumhower's will be called "Baumhower's Victory Grill" as opposed to the "Wings" and "Baumhower's Restaurant" that is now Bishops. It may be a hybrid concept of Baumhower's and Bob's Victory Grille, that has locations in Auburn and Tuscaloosa, with a similar and simpler menu. The main difference is the addition of pizzas and paninis.

And Bishop's is now closed.

That parcel and the one behind it are in desperate need of being redeveloped.
