I'd just like to know if you all feel as if the Mobile area would greatly benefit from legalized gambling? If so, which specific areas would you like to see a casino?

The most suitable location in Mobile would be along the waterfront in Downtown. A nice cluster of high end casinos and an open air shopping plaza would be a nice complement to lower Dauphin Street.

The most likely place for a casino would be on the MOWA Choctaw reservation near Mount Vernon. I would prefer that the Choctaw build off I-65 at Exit 19 or 22 in order to gain from the interstate traffic (like the Poarch Creeks near Atmore).

IMO Alabama will not legalize commercial casino gambling for a long time. Else, I concur with bon_regis.

Hopefully, they will legalize it within the next five years.

Hopefully, for Biloxi's sake, they will never legalize it. Furthermore, I pray Florida will never as well. If FLA legalizes gambling, Biloxi will become a ghost town...again! MS better diversify its offerings, and really quick like!
