I moved to Mobile in 1999. I have had no problems with crime at all what so ever. I learned where not to go.

Mobile is actually a very clean city for it's size.

There is plenty to do here. I do not think the negatives are very cultured in arts and entertainment.

Why such negitive remarks,Mobile is not so bad. There are places that are not safe DIP is not a family place. Saraland is a wonderful place to live lots of parks and wonderful new homes. Great place to raise a family.Homes will increase in value in this area due to all new job growth, Realtor 8 yrs.

I have lived in Mobile all my life and my family is relocating to Baton Rouge. I am am not looking forward to moving away.

Mobile has old city charm, there are nice neighborhoods in the 400-500k range. Providence Place, Isle of Palms, the Newer Mary Knoll, Some Places off of Hillcrest, Fowl River and the Western Side of Mobile Bay. As for Daulphin Island Parkway--yes that is trash--but you could find the same in any city in the US.

Cottaghill & Knollwood is a short hop to the interstate. Only a 45 minute drive to the casinos, aprox 2.5 hours to New Orleans. The beaches are are some ot the most beautiful in the world, the sand is sugar white and soft, the beaches are not as crowded or as comercialize which makes them so very relaxing.

Mobile does not ammusement parks and all that jazz, but the city is clean and on the up swing.

The public school system is a joke. There are many good private schools in the area.

Come visit and give us a shot!
