It would be nice if Big Lots leaves Springdale Mall to open in the Toys R Us or Babies or Us buildings.

They just put the signage logos for Bed Bath & Beyond and World Market but not Show Station yet. They are also repairing the whole parking lot.

Here's hoping the "repairs" mean reconfiguring the lines. That entire parking lot is a major cluster and having Sam's Club in the center of it all makes it that much worse.

Heard today that Toys R Us and Babies R Us may be coming back. Here's an article: https://www.polygon.com/2018/10/2/17...-us-bankruptcy

https://powersearch.jll.com/us-en/pr...le-mall-mobile

JLL has updated their leasing plans for the redevelopment of Springdale Mall...this includes all of the new and known upcoming tenants.

The changes this go-around are the demolition of the back end of the east mall wing for more parking and keeping the former Montgomery Ward/Burlington space as subdivided big boxes with the former Toys R Us partition as proposed office space on 2 floors.

There is also 3 options on how the second floor of the former Belk building can be divided.

Also, a hotel is being proposed in the former outlot where the PNC bank once was, and a new restaurant is being proposed between Raising Cane's and the former Macaroni Grill...

Either Dave and Buster's, Main Event Entertainment, or Round should announce a location for Mobile already. It's a new year so it's great for exciting attraction announcements for Mobile.

Okay. The old Burlington Space is not being renovated for Conn's Home Plus. I am hoping they will tear down the mall part.
