Default Mobile-married with no kids

Are there any other couples in mobile that are married without kids. We have, I guess be isolated from most of our friends over the years because we don't have kids and can't talk the motherhood-fatherhood discussions. It's definately not because we don't enjoy children, we have just choosen not to have any. This is partly because of the fast paced work lifestyle that we live. Are there any other couples out there like this? I am 35 and my wife is 34.

You all could plan a 'city-data' get together at a restaurant.

If you want you can make a poll to see how many would be interested.

Let me know if you need any assistance..

WOW. I am sorry you feel Isolated from your friends that have kids. I know how awful it feels not to feel connected or included based on the child issue.

We are in our late 30's and have 2 young children. We have married & single friends that do not have kids. We entertain alot and have never tried to isolate any one based on the kid issue. On the flip side we feel isolated & treated like we have the plaque since we do have kids. As there are many things that the childless people go out & do, but never give us the consideration or advance time needed to find a sitter.

Besides the bar scene you could join Adult sports team, maybe a join a gym that is for adult only members, volunteer for organizations like the American Cancer Society or other committees.

Smile We don't have kids, either...

We are in the process of looking into relocating to either the GS or NOLA area. My husband is a chef, I'm a counselor here in NY. He's from the Mobile area originally.
I have 2 adult nieces and husband has an adult daughter. We don't have any kids of our own together, and truthfully, we don't feel lacking. We enjoy our time together. It may be because we have each other as friends and I've always been a bit of loner, but I don't miss it. If we moved we wouldn't mind meeting others who are childfree'.
There is an organization online with chapters all over called 'no kidding'. I acutally looked into some of t heir activites and they seem rather fun!

All the best,
Fyre
