Our daughter and family recently moved back to Mobile, and are in the process of planning our grandson's 7th birthday party in April. Do you nice folks have any suggestions as to fun places for kids' parties? We're aware of the usual (Chuck E Cheese, Pump It Up, skating places) but are wondering if there are some cool places/ideas we haven't yet considered. Thanks!!!

Laser Zone,Gulf Coast Exploreum, and Mobile Maritime MuseamThe museam has tons of interactive games and displays. Both Gulf Coast Exploreum and Maritime Museam can both be accompanied with a birthday themed Duke Boat tour ride.

I love the idea of the Maritime Museum! I think he's only been there briefly. (They certainly could use the business.) Great idea - thanks!

We love the Duck Boats, but I don't think we'd want to be responsible for 20 5-and-6 year-olds anywhere near water.

Having my son’s b-day party at the Explorium on Saturday. They have been awesome! His party is dinosaur themed, which turned out great with the current exhibit.

Both the Exploreum and Maritime are great venues and both are grossly underrated.

My grandson is there today with his Cub Scout troop; he is very excited about the exhibit!
