Where can I find Himalayan pink salt (coarse grain, preferably sold in amounts less than 1 lb)? I checked Whole Foods, but they don't have it. Thanks!

Whole Foods definitely should have some....I know Rouses and Publix has some in their spice section. If all else fails Food Pak International on Old Shell definitely has some....along with the best gyro and hummus in Mobile!

I buy mine online at Amazon. They sell it in blocks, fine, course. There's currently a 5-oz course, pink container for $5.43, but many choices for 1-2-5 lb bags, some as low as 5-lbs for under $11.

I'm currently using Spice Lab brand, which is 5-lbs for $15 & like it, but will buy something a bit cheaper next time, since there are so many cheaper options. Hope this helps.

Thanks, everyone, for the help. I checked Whole Foods again, and while they do have Himalayan pink salt, it's fine grain. (I need the coarse chunks for the salt grinder.) Rouse's doesn't have any, though they have a good selection of salts as well. Food Pak International has fine pink salt as well, and at a pretty good price. (It also seems like a good place for spices!) But no coarse chunks. Costco has both the fine and the coarse, the latter coming in a salt grinder. At the end ordering online turns out to be easier. Initially I was hoping to be able to buy a small quantity -- perhaps at a health food store -- but I guess I'll have to resign myself to buying in bulk for the savings.
