An addition to the 3MC ( 3 Mile Creek) Kayak, biking, and walking trail. The city just announced plans for the Africa Town community.More access to the delta is always a plus.

This would be a great civic focal point for the Plateau/Africatown community.

Great news. I enjoy kayaking, however I'd be cautious of kayaking where man is just a part of the food chain

I wonder why they call it a "blueway". River water is traditionally called brown, as in brownwater navy. I guess brownway doesn't sound as appealing...

I think it's for the appeal lol. Though some parts of both the Delta and 3 Mile creek are clear and kind of beachy in a weird way. There are parts of both that have sand and clear water.I'm glad the city has finally decided to utilize both for civic water recreation instead of industralizing them like in the past.

Yeah, I like the name Blueway better than canoe trail. Just like the blue lines on a map. We have a blueway nearby (Chattanooga), which adds character to a place imo.
