Rental homes in Bay Minette (Atmore: real estate, apartment, condo)

My family and I are looking to relocate to Bay Minette and are looking for a house or mobile home to rent. We need a minimum of 3 bedrooms, and no more than $600 a month. Because we have three young children, we don't think an apartment/condo/duplex would be fair to neighbors. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would check some of the small real estate companies in Bay Minette, sometimes they know of houses for rent. You could look in The Baldwin Times (Bay Minette paper), but the classified section is consolidated with the rest of the county and 95% of the ads won't be in Bay Minette. If you drive around on some of the country roads surrounding Bay Minette you can sometimes find empty houses. Just knock on a neighbors door and ask if they know who owns it, I know of people who have rented pretty decent houses by doing that.

We may try that. I have taken down the numbers of some of the real estate companies, and plan to call them. As for driving around, that was what my mom had suggested, but it's hard when we live three hours away and don't really know the area. We're hoping to come down this weekend and look at some places, so we may try that. Thank you for the great suggestions.

I live about 25 miles from Bay Minette (in Atmore), if I hear of any houses for rent I will send you a private message. Look north of the courthouse square, from about 4th street up to 16th street, that's a pretty good area.
