Can anyone recommend a good blues bar/club?. If so do they allow people to jam with them?. I play guitar at home and I'd like to keep my hand in.

The SHED in Ocean Springs, Mississippi (about 50 miles from Mobile) is a blues jukekoint. They have live blues every weekend. Don't know about jamming with them. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
They also serve the best BBQ in the area. |

There's at least one:
The Blues Tavern 2818 Government Street (US Highway 90) Just east of Interstate 65 at Exit 1 I'm pretty sure there are some downtown but I can't point anything out to you right now. ![]() List of bars in Mobile: Bars/Nightclubs in Mobile Alabama (AL) - Yellow Pages - Switchboard.com By the way, many of the better bars are downtown on Dauphin, Royal, and Conti Streets. |
