Default Mobile Blues

Can anyone recommend a good blues bar/club?. If so do they allow people to jam with them?. I play guitar at home and I'd like to keep my hand in.

The SHED in Ocean Springs, Mississippi (about 50 miles from Mobile) is a blues jukekoint. They have live blues every weekend. Don't know about jamming with them. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
They also serve the best BBQ in the area.

There's at least one:

The Blues Tavern
2818 Government Street (US Highway 90)
Just east of Interstate 65 at Exit 1

I'm pretty sure there are some downtown but I can't point anything out to you right now.

List of bars in Mobile:
Bars/Nightclubs in Mobile Alabama (AL) - Yellow Pages - Switchboard.com

By the way, many of the better bars are downtown on Dauphin, Royal, and Conti Streets.
