Austal offices in Daphne
I am coming down to work at Austal and was just told that I would be in the Daphne office. I can not find any information on this office, does any one know where it is at. I have been looking on the West side of Mobile all along and now may need to change

I googled it and it showed as being on HWY 64 in Daphne.
I would look in Daphne or Spanish Fort for a place to live so you don't have to travel so far everyday. Was there a reason you are looking in West Mobile?

I thought I would be at the Yard in Mobile and a friend had told me about how quiet and peaceful it is on the West side. I live in a rural area now outside of town and we kind of like it better than a crowded development.

Well, if you go a little north of Daphne proper you can find rural living. Maybe someone who lives around Spanish Fort/Daphne can give you more info. My sister lives further away near Foley but I would check Silverhill if you are looking for rural, small town. There is also Loxely and Robertsdale.
Are you looking to rent or buy a house?
Here is a link to Baldwin county MLS listings.. to give you a good idea of what is out there. I chose Silverhill, Loxely and Robertsdale with 1-3 acres. Of course you can change the parameters.

I suggest looking around Stapleton or Loxley for a place to live. If you don't mind about a 30 minute commute you could also look in Bay Minette, there's also a big area along hwy 59 between Bay Minette and Stapleton that may be ideal.

Oh God don't live in West Mobile if you are working in Daphne. Talk about a commute nightmare.
As some suggested, I would look in Spanish Fort, Malbis, or Loxley. All of those would be quiet and rural or semi-rural areas.
