Smile Restaurant needed for rehearsal dinner.

My son is getting married in Mobile this Fall and I am looking for restaurant suggestions for the rehearsal dinner. I live in MS so I'm not familiar with the Mobile area.

You could try The Pillars. I'll warn you though, it's expensive.

Welcome to The Pillars Restaurant!

Bailey's Restaurant has been around for at least 50 years.. They have a place downtown. I couldn't find a website for them but here is something I found with some info. They list some restaurants.

Not a fancy a place but there is also Wentzel's.

What is that nice restaurant at the SW corner of Dauphin and Royal? That's what I'd recommend.

Welcome to The Pillars Restaurant!
We just had a WONDERFULL luncheon there recently over the last month. We had about 50 people and for $25 each, we had a choice of 3 great entrees: chicken pecan , crab cakes, or some shrimp & andouille pastry- yum! Not the usual yucky chicken dish.
They have several rooms they can reserve for your size party whatever the size.

Other choices:
Ruth's Chris Steak House- it's owned locally by the Cooper family and it's not a typical Ruths Chris - it's better!, very very expensive but people only get married once! They have a private room and then another that is pretty big.

Battle House Trellis Room

Cafe Royale, at Royal/Dauphin, as another suggested, is good.

True is a very nice restaurant right on Du Ru Drive off of Dauphin Street right across the street in that shopping center from Sprinhill Medical Complex.
