Just go on the TK website under careers I believe. The Army Corps of Engineers are looking for accountants as well.

Has the Corps ever moved, or updated their barracks-style offices in The Loop area??

The carbon side of the TK plant is still scheduled to start up in a few months from now. It sounds like mostly maintenance people are being hired now along with some operators. Others who have been through the AIDT school and passed the TK selection process are being called and told that their time is getting near.

The stainless side of the plant has been delayed a few months from what I have heard. I think just about everything depends on the economy.

TK is doing another job fair soon, looking for water treatment operators, crane operators, and crane electricians.

TK just announced that the total cost of the plant has been increased to 5 billion.

Google AITD or ThyssenKrupp Alabama for further information.

The TK plant (raw steel) in Brazil is delayed again but the TK Mobile plant will begin to receive slabs of steel in the coming weeks from Germany so production I would guess will start in 6 to 12 weeks. Only three years to build the most state of the art industrial project in the world at over 7,000,000 sq ft in the middle of the swampy Alabama woods.....IMPRESSIVE!
