Default MTA vs. MBA

I'm currently at school at South Alabama here in Mobile majoring in Accounting. I plan directing my focus on taxes. I've been debating on weather I should just stay within the general scope of taxation and just get my CPA and MBA here, or should I go up to Tuscaloosa and apply for the Masters of Tax Accounting program. I want to know what the salary difference is between an MTA and an MBA and if it would be worth moving up there for 1 year. Thanks.
