Default Fishing- Baldwin County

Anyone know if they have opened up the newly built pier in Gulf Shores ? Also any anglers out there have any suggestions as to good places to go saltwater fishing around the county piers, bridges, parks etc.

Spider,

The pier in GS is not open yet. I was there a week ago and it is still under construction. My husband fishes out of the Fairhope pier. It depends what you want to catch. He nets a lot of mullet( we ate it here the first time and it's not bad), and shrimp, when they are here. He also gets flounder, ect near the pier here. Try it!

Thanks for the info.I'll definitely do some fishing on the Fairhope Pier, love to catch flounder( and anything else that swims by my hook). Really looking foward to that pier in Gulf Shores to open. It'd be nice to hook into one of those bigger fish like a king mackeral or a nice cobia, thanks again for the info.
