Default Dh working at TK...Need some help w/schools & area in Satsuma or Saraland area

My husband has been working at the steel mill (TK) for a few months now and still will be working there probaly until the end of the year if not longer. We have decided that I will move up with our kids this summer. We are coming from Florida. We will be looking for a house in the Saraland or Satsuma area. What are some prices for houses to rent in that area? What are the public schools like? I saw 2 Elementry schools online one is Saraland Elementry & I believe the other was Robert E. Lee Primary. My boys will be going into kindergarten & first grades. Any input would be appreciated. TIA!

Schools are fine. House prices can vary depending on what you are looking for. You can find good prices in working class neighborhoods, or if you are the must have new 3 bed w/ garage and pool type - you can find those too. Either type will be fairly priced when compared to respective markets of the same type housing.
