I use to work overnights at wal-mart and i lived on dunkins coffee. but you know what they say what works for one may not work for the other. try the coffee, the worst thing that could happen is you make two stops in the mourning instead of one

After all the hype about Krispy Creme, I finally got to eat one. There was NO big deal. It didn't even seem ABOVE average.
Fresh donuts rule, no matter what the name.

Were they hot doughnuts NOW?
P.S. This is an article from last year- apparently they are looking at us.

Dunkin' Donuts sells out Mobile franchises
Dunkin’ Donuts announced Wednesday that it signed a development agreement to open 40 restaurants in Mobile and Pensacola, Fla.
In the deal with Gulf Coast Franchise Group LLC, six restaurants will open in Mobile and three in Pensacola in 2009, with the rest opening in the next six years.
Dunkin’ Donuts started looking for franchisees in Alabama in May and said it plans to open 142 stores in the next several years.

You can't beat Krispy Kreme, especially when the "HOT NOW" sign is lit. They melt in your mouth. As for the store bought KK's, yuck!
Many of my Northern clients are dying for a Duncan Donuts in our area (Huntsville) and swear by their coffee.

I'm original from Long Island...Duncan Donuts coffee is the best!
We can buy the coffee beans in Publix here in Florida.

Hello all! I was just cruising through the sites and came upon this thread and HAD to reply.
First, I'm originally from TN so I literally grew up with Krispy Kreme. I discovered Dunkin later. Both have good donuts, but I am partial to KK's HOT donuts! They can, however, make you sick from eating those wonderfully melt in your mouth donuts!
I live in Las Vegas now and Dunkin just came back to this city a couple of years ago. Recently, when I've visited Dunkin I ask for glazed or chocolate iced (kids like them) and I'm told they don't have any. So, I ask for doughnut holes and they don't have any of them. So, I ask what do you have? Answer: we don't have any doughnuts right now. I leave.
I call my daughter and say, "Dunkin donuts needs to change their name to "Dunkin NUTTIN because they never have any doughnuts!" I've never been to KK and not been able to get a donut!

This would be a good poll question. My vote goes to Dunkin. There's just something about all that glaze on KK's. My .02
