Hey rott, he said the money wasnt right, we work at the same place now and for operator it is less than we make now but with all the lay-offs and buy-outs in the auto industry i think its time for a change. Right now if i want a buy-out i have to sign by nov 16th but my last interview is nov 18th, dont know what to do but i would need the money to be able to move down there, i think the 1st hired will have to buy land and build a house. O ya another reason i want to leave my present job is they already told us we will only work 30 hours a week till 2012!

Well, congratulations then! Perhaps I'll run into you down there at some point. Meanwhile, are you in the metro Detroit area or another part of Michigan? I live in Riverview, but play pool league three nights a week. Two of those are in Monroe and one is in Ypsilanti.

Steel, are you mechanical or electrical? I applied for electrical. From what I understand TJ has employed good people so far. The folks in the class I went to were all decent people too. I almost miss the class; actually I do. Miss the routine.

Well, I see quite a few of you have been going through this for a while. I guess it becomes sort of a second life for everyone. I started the process a year ago. Finally got invited for training, like I said, the last two weeks of October. It is quite a long process but hopefully worth it in the end. Oh, I'm going for maintenance by the way. Good luck to you guys and congratulations to you who have been offered a job.
