Well I took testing yesterday so I dont see them starting me Monday.But I also asked if it would be in a few weeks and they said no ,asap.So I wonder if there is another class in between or what.Something doesnt add up on the dates for me.Guess I will sit tight and wait for an answer.

I wanted to start on sept 27 and was told no choose from Sept 20 or Oct 4 because orientation and OSHA classes starting every two weeks. I was also hired in as a Crane Operator on the finishing side so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Yes, I may be very interested and would like to talk to you about it. We can discuss it once we are inside. I am definitely looking at a travel trailer. It would be ideal to halve the rent to someone on the opposite shift but we'll see. I am going to get one of those rooms at a boarding house for a couple of weeks to check things out first. There may already be people looking for a quality roommate. Just don't know until we're in. I go for my physical on monday the 20th. Hope I get a start date soon.

Yes I will. I did the physical on Monday and I don't know how long it will be to process. I am assuming they want to get the results as soon as possible. I will just wait for a phone call. The fourth member of our group is going for his panel interview next Monday at TK. Of our little group, the two of us that got offers have accepted them.

From the time you applied, how long did the process take? My husband knows several that have went to work there. He applied online through AIDT 2 weeks ago and gave his resume to a friend there. I am curious as we live out of state and will be selling house and moving there.

I submitted my info to the AIDT site about May 14, 2010. For me, it was about three weeks between each event. If you look back at the earlier posts, you can get an idea. Several of us posted each time we passed a hurdle. The only thing that might be different now is that the Mobile office might be closed. My friend has to go the the mill to have his panel interview whereas this was done at the Mobile AIDT office before.
