Default Advantages of going to USA college

Hey guys. What are the advantages of transferring to South Alabama? What's there to do in Mobile? What kind of jobs can one find? How far is the biggest city in Florida from Mobile? Etc. I wanted to try UAB, but USA's tuition and housing was cheaper, plus their business program is supposed to be pretty good.

I'm asking because I don't want to repeat the mistake I made two years ago when I was deciding on colleges.

The biggest city in Florida would be Miami - 11 hours,Jacksonville Florida-6 hours, but New Orleans is only a hour and a half.Mobile is an hour away from the beach. Mobile doesn`t have as much as a major city of course, but it has a strong night life. You can find a job in retail, restaurant,or hotels, telecommunicaton, etc. If you have a trade or skill they are always building and costructing something downtown so construction workers are greatly needed.

Any major banks or so for potential internships? Anywhere would be better than where I'm at now.

You mentioned telecommunications as well. Do you mean cable companies or telecommunications in general?
