Yes, there are quite a few places in midtown and downtown where people like to hang out. Downtown has the most bars/clubs/restaurants. Finding a job in the restaurant business probably won't be too hard, especially since so many new places have and are opening up around here. We also have several parks. There are 3 existing parks downtown, including one on the waterfront. There are also several others, including Municipal Park, which has a large pond with ducks and geese. Also, since Mobile is on the delta (swamp), there are numerous outdoor activities you can do such as kayaking, boating, fishing, crabbing, and many more.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. We're happy to help.

I don't think our McDonald's are open all night, but there are several other fast food chains that would be open later, such as Wendy's and Checkers and maybe Burger King.

I hope you're going to bring some money with you, because you won't make enough at McDonalds to pay rent unless maybe you have a roomate.

Just curious ... Brazil to Mobile? What brought that about? Congrats on your move to the US though. Might want to aim higher than McDonalds if you say you want spending money.
I have to say, I have never met a bad looking Brazillian lady. Of course, that's out of the 3 or 4 that I have met in my life.

I'm sure you would have a lot of seasonal job opportunities in Gulf Shores from like March- August for bartending and waitress etc. Now it may be a little slow, but if you're good I'm sure you'll find something. If not and you get bored let me know and I'll show ya some places to go fishing, no reason to sit around waiting for the phone to ring when you could have bait in the water

There are 24hr Mcdonald`s in Mobile two that I know of Downtown and the one in the Tillmans Corner area I worked the over night shift at that one. With all the over time from the tour buses that use to pull in I was averaging 800 + dollar checks biweekly. I will encourage you to aim higher though .

Do not count on seeing snow in Mobile.
Portcity worked at McDonalds in Mobile and made $400.00 a week USD working graveyard shift and with overtime. If you have a job where will you be working? Who is this sponsor? You need to be very careful.. there are a lot of bad people out there.
