Like I said, I've never done couch surfing myself, so I'm no expert. However, when I did read about it, I know they have a rating system from other people who have stayed with that person - I would be sure to pick someone who has good ratings from others. That's about all I know. It's adventurous to be sure, so it may not be for everyone.

Malaga Inn is very nice and is in the Church street historic district.This area has that Mobile charecter to it.

Yes, the hotel Malaga Inn would be nice. I would probably avoid that first place, though. That is not a good neighborhood.

Malaga Inn is not cheap even if you get a discount I doubt it is going to be much less than the $75 a night rate. Even if you get it for $50 a night that is $1,500 for a month!!!
