to clarify.... IN GENERAL, which means most of the population, is over 30% BMI of what is considered "healthy." This population in the 36619 area smokes, drinks, and eats ALOT (of poor food choices.)They generally blame their health problems on anyone but themselves. A good day = Full wal mart basket ,carton of smokes ,case of beer ,and Alabama Football is at kickoff time.If you want to FAIL in business here open a gym. But a magic bullet drug that requires nothing more that going to the clinic with the promise of pounds falling off with no other personal effort, You are MONEY.
Lease some space over here in the strip center where the tatoo shop tarot reading and the "smoking needs" place is and give it a shot.

I grew up in tillmans corner and i think it would be great for a wieght loss clinic. Yea there are a lot of overweight people who want to lose weight but don't know how. They do tend to be on the lower middle class but there has been a lot of well off people making there way down there. It should be a good place to set up shop.

Exclamation What ?

Nothing like a shot of psuedo-intellectual elitism to brighten your day.
I think it was in psych 163 that they taught about insecurity and deflection. Amazing that the ones that consider themselves the most enlightened can also be the most overtly bigoted.
I have been looking around the Mobile area for a place to live. My options are wide open and I have been impressed by the down-to-earth and friendly nature of the people in TC and Theodore. Yeah, I have come across some I wouldn't want to spend time with, but that's also true of midtown and Spring Hill.
With TK going into full swing on the start-up you might find a good market in the TC area. I'd keep an eye on where the workforce seems to be settling and take advantage of the new market.

Thanks again for the advice! Someone in my boyfriend's family is willing to rent me an office space at Old Pascagoula and Three Notch (I think, near all the hotels and the pecan shop) at a very reduced rate.. but it is next to a check cashing store so I'm not too sure about it.

Yeah, there are some decent places to live in the Theodore area, I don't care what anyone in this forum says. Not everyone can afford $350k houses with 3 car garages.
