If I were looking for a "rural" town and was planning on doing business along the coast in both Mobile and Pensacola ... I would go with Loxley as an easy choice. You can't get much more of a central location, and you can't get much more rural (although nice rural). It is also 5-15 minutes from Eastern Shore.

BUT, how much longer is Loxley going to feel rural? Baldwin County is growing very quickly, just look at all of the development of the Malbis area, it seemed to happen overnight. I still recommend the Satsuma/Creola area, commuting to Mobile everyday from Baldwin County would be an inconvenience. Like right now,the Bankhead tunnel is closed due to drainage repairs, and all traffic is being routed through the Wallace tunnels, too much headache IMO.

I believe Faulkner State in Bay Minette has a good automotive tech course, but it's about a 45 drive from Mobile.

Remember their work area includes the Pensacola area so that would be a longer commute if they were on the Mobile side of the pond, and I wouldn't worry about Loxley becoming saturated in the near future, there's lots and lots of farm land

You're right, I missed that part.

The Stockton area north of Spanish Fort along Hwy 225 is also worth considering, it's convenient to both I-10 and I-65.

That's true too. The great thing about this area is that you have a lot of options. So my advice would be to ride the roads and check out the different areas and see what floats your boat

While you are down there you need to look out toward Turnerville area on Celeste road. It is a great community with great neighborhoods. Most homes are on 5+ acres.
