Sounds like it's definitely a school worth giving some serious consideration to. Thank you all so much! I feel she would be completely lost at a school like Auburn or Alabama.

SpringHill College is also worth looking into. It is a small, private school. Spring Hill College

For those familiar with USA, do you recommend staying in an apartment or living on campus? Safety is a priority btw.

Won't matter. Whether on-campus, or in an apartment within a mile or three of campus ... it will be safe. The area of and around USA is completely safe (although I would personally look south or east or southeast or southwest of the campus as Hillsdale is west and not much is to the north).

Fwiw, I would choose an apartment as it would be nicer on the inside ... but any choice around USA will be safe. Stay in a dorm, or stay in one of the many complexes on Old Shell, Hillcrest, University, Grelot, Airport/Downtowner Blvd., etc.

You are right because UA`s enrollment jumped from 25 k to almost 30 K in just a year or so and I credit that to Saban`s influince.

LOL ok you went a little deep my friend, and I`m familure with the SIN,CoSINE, and TAN of a 90,60,and 30 degree angle. I hope you weren`t putting math in the aquation.

I have read news paper articles/journals on neighberhood gentrification,I have heard sports announcers, and medical professionals all coin the term 360. I`m not the wisest man in the world but I thought that was a complet change.

Well we learn something new daily - 180 is a complet change ? I thought it was half but hey I`m learning.

Well, half way would be the farthest point from where you started, thus the most change. 360 would put you right back where you started. Maybe that helps.

This thread has my head hurting from geometry talk.

Sooo about USA again - how hard is it to find a decent pt job around the area? There's really nothing in this area, which is why I'm so interested in Mobile.

Up until recently it would have been easy, but I'm not sure now- just because so many people are getting laid off (and getting salary cuts, but that's another matter). For instance, I know of a vet who put needed someone just to clean kennels, and he got dozens of calls. I can try to keep my eyes out for you, though. Any particular kind?
