Seattle has more rainy days than we do; Mobile doesn't have lots of rainy days, just lots of rain when it does rain. So we beat them with the amount of rain.

The category is typically referred to as the "rainiest city in the United States" .

I love our climate and it's even better the closer you get to the Mobile Bay. I'm less than 2 miles from the Bay, and I usually have no frost hurting my plants due to climate and big live oaks.

The only thing I don't like about our weather is the pop up storms I mentioned in an earlier post. You can be outside enjoying the sunshine mowing the lawn or whatever, and then boom, dark clouds seem to come from nowhere in a matter of minutes. It doesn't last long, but it can get annoying.

Especially out in the boat! I grew up going out to Horn Island and it was quite a boat ride to get back. Amazingly, none of us were ever struck by lightening!

Yes. Mobile rains are quick and harsh.

I love the sunny - violently grey - sunny days.
