Exclamation Homes for Rent Daphne, Loxley, SFort, Fairhope Areas

Ok the time is finally here. I am moving soon and still have not found a place yet so I'm getting nervous. Even though I'm a single gal I am looking for a nice little house to rent (4/3 or 3/2 with a fence) in a "nice safe area" that won't break the bank since I will be having to deal with a major pay cut moving to the Mobile area from Florida (the jobs I am finding out don't pay as much and even though I feel like I'm taking a step back I still want to move because I really need a change of scenery without snow storms & blizzards).
I have so much stuff (from my previous home that has been in storage for 3 years & I miss them). The problem is that I am not finding homes like in Georgia that have BOTH a breakfast area AND formal dining room while also having den/family room AND a formal living room so I can put all my stuff. I love big homes because I love cooking & entertaining & always have friends and family visiting from somewhere. I also need to keep a room for my son when he is home from college during breaks... Thank you in advance for suggestions/comments?!

Safe Areas? Basically anywhere in the places you listed .

Sorry I can't help beyond that, but I have to ask, why in the world would someone living by his or herself want a 4/3 or 3/2 home?

Good luck in your search though. Maybe a few of the eastern shore posters can help you out. My parents live over there, and their house does not have a formal dining room.

Lake Forest in Daphne has a handful of houses for rent. Fairhope usually has a good amount of "cottages" that might interest you. Can't really tell you much without a price range. Anyways, welcome to the Eastern Shore!

Thank you for the best wishes. That was a typo too should have said 4/2 LOL as if that's such a big difference but I did include the disclaimer of my wacky need for a big home...

Oh yes one more thing: what is there to know about Chickasaw? Or would I be on the wrong side of the tracks there?

I would go with the places you have listed over Chickasaw personally, but I mean it is an ok area I guess.

enide2, There are plenty of homes in the Fairhope area for rent...not only cottages. I rented a 4/3 fenced backyard, breakfast area and formal dining room, and 2 car garage...in Rock Creek.( I did this while our home was being built.) It depends what you want to pay...but there are many like this one, all over the place. Many are listed on the MLS. I will be glad to check for you ( I have access)but I am NOTa realtor. I would stay in the Eastern Shore area vs Chickasaw....lots more going for it.

Chickasaw is a little more low rent, especially to some of the areas mentioned.
