My husband and I are currently living in NH. We are thinking about moving to one of three places. Utah,Montana or Arizona. I hear Montana is a beautiful state. neither of us know anything about it, nor have we ever been there. Could anyone tell me a little bit about the state and good places to live? We are not looking for on overly exspenive spot, and is there a part of Montana that doesn't have really cold and brisk winters with some snow but not a Hudge amount?

I would recommend taking a visit in either August or January. It could be 100 degrees or - 20 degrees. You'll be able to see the bad parts of montana to see if you could deal with it for a month. Do not come in May or June you'll want to move in right away, the state at this point is amazzzing. Western Montana has a majority of the population and a most of the snow. However most people go for three towns when they move Missoula, Bozeman, Kalispell. Each are beautiful towns that offer skiing, fishing and regular entertainment. Cons; Missoula no sun in winter, Bozeman never ending snow, Kalispell closed in no interstate. Hope that helps. For more specific info just reply.
