Elk Park, Montana - Any Info? Might Move there
Hi all,
Any information on Elk Park Montana would be greatly appreciated. I am going to possibly be moving there and would like to know about the general area.
Also, can anyone tell me what the weather is like? I know it snows, but, how much snow? I'm born and raised in California so I'm sure it will be a shock.
Thank you in advance!

Elk Park is a snowmobiling park near Butte. No one lives there.

Be prepared to freeze your ass off. It's stuck in a hollow above Butte and is a truly nasty spot.

Come On Guys, Elk Park is a beautiful place in Montana. Yes indeed it is cold; Yes indeed people DO live there. Being born and raised in Butte I have spent alot of time there. My grandfather owned 300 acres there and my father grew up there. In the good old days many a patron walked through the doors of the "Elk Park Inn" a favorite watering hole. You will be awed by its beauty. Welcome to Butte.

You'll find that montana folks really like people from California. Leave your California plate on as long as possible. You'll get lots of waves and friendly smiles.
if you don't mind my asking, what takes you to Elk Park?

The OP created this thread on July 2 2007 and has never returned. I guess "Goingsomewhere" went somewhere !
