The track to the trash is now a "Luge Run". The snow was tramped down, now melted on top, and iced down.

My CRV, with snow tires, could not cut thru the slush in the alley. Forget that, I parked on the street.

Default Clean your stovepipe.

This morning's adventure involved an older house trailer half a mile down the road from me. At this point it had been burning about 15 minutes and was collapsing. Source either the woodstove (which the former tenant said was... peculiar) or an unattended heater attached to a propane bottle. Fortunately, no one was home and the volunteer fire dept. was johnny-on-the-spot... still nothing they could do but cool down the embers.

I had a very exciting day. Needed to get some fuel in my 4 wheeler, so I run over to Dayton (8 miles) and filled up.

On the way over, Timber wanted to run, so I stopped and off she went, running right down the middle of the county road. She held up her pace for about 1.5 miles and then started slowing down, so I stopped and she jumped on. Got my fuel and started back. When I got to the edge of Dayton, I stopped and Timber jumped and headed down the county road again. This time she only run about a mile. Got home, fixed a sandwich and with all that running that Timber did, I figured she was tired, so I layed down in bed and raised the foot of the bed and the head of the bed and turned on the TV with an old Western on. That was about 12:30. That was the last thing I remember until I woke up at 7:30 this evening. Timber must have really tuckered me out.

When I laid down, Timber was right along side of me and I was scratching her ears and petting her. She must have been tired too, as when I woke up, my hand was still on top of her head. She hadn't moved.

Popped some popcorn for supper.

You think you're tired? Imagine how your 4-wheeler must feel. Except for Timber's little jaunt, it had to carry both of you all the way to town and back! How tired would you be if you had to carry the 4-wheeler that far??

And here I thought I was the only one who ate popcorn for supper.

It's you. It thinks you're a peeping tom, wanting to look under this poor car's covers like that. Yes, that's how they do it in Russia... put a big thick quilt over the hood to keep the engine warm. Apparently it works... the gal's car was reported perfectly able to start at deep subzero temps, which apparently is not typical for a Daewoo. Who knew they even made cars??!
