Ok y'all TAKE YOUR COLD BACK! Had to break out our Montana clothes this morning, well below freezing right now and a freezing wind. Had to wrap the new lemon tree and bring in all my new herbs and tomatoes.

E.H., there's a store/deli? in Kalispell named Mabuhay that should have all the Filipino stuff you need and she makes several Filipino dishes as well as Lumpia.
Used to be in C-Falls but moved to Hwy 2.

Default Basking in sunshine ~♥~

We are sunny as can be in these parts and the weather reports are generally sooooo wrong here, especially in the temperature department.
The reason is that our town doesn't have a weather station so the temp feeds for the towns in this strip come from up Little Beaver Creek in a less mild climate zone.
Right now it is 20 deg F in our backyard in the shade. Breakfast is bacon, bacon, and bacon with fried potatoes cooked with tons of onions and garlic.
I feel a picture coming on but it may be a while before I post it. I still have to take it !!!

I have one that is going around on the internet:
"It's winter in Montana
And the gentle breezes blow,
70 miles per hour at 52 below!
Oh, how I love MONTANA
When the snow's up to your butt;
You take a breath of winter air
And your nose is frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
You may think I'm a fool.
I could never leave Montana
Cause I'm frozen to the stool. "

I had its cousin, fried cheese and potatoes:

Put about a quarter inch of cheese in the frypan
Cover it with up to half an inch of potatoes
(being lazy, I used instant mashed, but fresh sliced work too)
Cover that with another 1/4 inch of cheese
Fry on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, turn over and fry another 10 minutes, or until both sides are golden and crunchy

Eat hot or cold, with difficulty as it gets tough to chew, but man is it tasty. Prolly be even better with some bacon and onions fried on one side!

That sounds awesome. I might try that this weekend... but with bacon and onions mixed in with the spuds...

Photograph below, I took of the sunset glow on the mountain behind our house yesterday.
No "Feeling Lucky" or "Auto Fix" or any other effects were added.
This is a raw digital photograph that I only cropped and digitally framed.

This is an old etching or lithograph of a bit of American History.
John Smith getting rescued by Pocahontas.
