Just heard that a favourite great-uncle passed away. He had a good long life tho, he'd just turned 97. Only two left of that generation now, and I think the younger one is 94. We're all gettin' older, every day...

Hello Neighbors,
Spring is sure trying, I love the renewal of the Easter season. The message is there for everyone facing the loss of someone today.
If you need some help today I hope this song gives you that.

Default :-)

Hugs to all.
My big ole dream is to now go to a Guy Penrod concert, and at least one Gaither gathering.
Might have to wait to the pearly gates.
One more by a classic. My pop is singing with her even now.

Good news, and bad. Good news is, I'm back. Bad news is, I didn't get to go.

As we were making the final load on the Pilot, I colapsed and got another one of those expensive rides in the meat wagon to that hotel that doesn't have complementery coffee. That's why I'm a day or two late, they just let me out this afternoon.

Really missed giving him a send off, but I know he was well taken care of. I like it when a plan comes through.

Hotel had good clean sheets, nice staff in clean clothes, food was pretty good, all in all, not bad.

Downside, it sucks using an IV pole as a walker. You look like a dork holding on to both sides. You have to kind of bend over to hold on, and that leaves your South side hanging out.

This morning, I was messing with one of the nurses. The vampire come in about 5:30 and was drawing blood. The head nurse came in and said good morning and asked if everything was going good. Jokingly, I said, "I didn't notice my complementary coffee this morning." We all laughed.

About 20 minutes later my doctor come in, making rounds, only the head nurse wasn't with him. While he's talking to me and thumping here and there, the head nurse comes in carrying a fresh hot cup of coffee and sets it on my tray. The doctor stood up, looked at her, looked at the coffee, then turned to me and said, "You got the nurses bringing you coffee?????" I said, "Ain't that what they're here for?" Doc turned to the nurse and said, "Draw up his discharge papers, he's out of here." and he walked out.

Here I am.

But I gotta tell you. When your Blood Pressure hits 51/38. Life sucks.

51/38.... !! You sure you don't have a leak??

Sounds like either you got the nurses trained real well, or they're all in love with ya

Anyway, Elk, glad you're here instead of there. Or instead of neither here nor there for that matter.

Just popped by,Hello all!!!! Getting wayyy tired of city life!
Been very busy lately and read this... Dang it Elk, ya gotta knock off scaring us like this!!
I highly suggest getting a portable XM radio tuned to the news. If all the garbage that's currently going on doesn't keep your blood pressure up nothing will! Voila! No need for a doctor anything.
Seriously, I'm glad to hear your not looking at the root side of the grass, take care my friend....
Everyone else, hope you're doing ok as well!
Been spending most days online trying to find events for the ice cream rig that don't want $1000 buy in and 20% off the top.
