I say the number one best thing about E Montana after no traffic is that I have grown some seriously red tomatoes, something ole Oregon stumped me on.
EH you are quite the worker. Get one of those life alert buttons for Timber to wear on the collar

Lordy they are calling for 7 inches of wet snow this weekend. Will it ever stop being winter over here?

Yes, store bought veggies. My garden is half under snow and the other half is flooded.

I've canned over 100 pints this winter. Only the first 10 were veggies out of my garden and they were froze. haha

Our forecast called for rain and high winds, last night and today.

Sometime after midnight we had 50+ mph gusts. But when I got up, it was calm and raining. It's still calm and raining and we are under wind warnings. So I imagine it's just late getting here.

Seven - we have the same forecast for Sunday night, snow. In regards to one of those "I fell down and can't get up buttons", they only work so many feet from your phone. Two problems. When I'm out playing in the mud, I'm too many feet from a phone. Secondly, I don't have a phone.

I thought about training Timber to go fetch somebody. There in lies a problem. I invisioned Timber going and bringing back some transient that will take my wallet and leave. Or. Timber would go out and find a boyfriend and not come back for 2 days. So I scrached that idea. I thought about carrier pigeon, but found out my neighbor likes squab.

I firmly believe that if you ever stop pushing the envelope.... Somebody is going to lick it shut.

Today, it's raining. So I'm working hard on shelling peanuts and figuring out which movie I want to watch next. I have 5 lbs of peanuts in their shells, a case of diet coke in the fridge and a box full of DVD's. Let it rain.

It may not be your preferences.

I receive many notices of postings with a long delay, or not at all.

You can go here http://www.city-data.com/forum/usercp.php to see what notices of postings you did not yet receive.

I'll be headed into that Devil place, called Town, tomorrow. Gotta baby sit my daughters house and her dogs, while she goes and plays in Deadwood.

But knowing how unrully you folks can get, I'm taking my computer with me.

Default New toy

My kids got me a "weather" station for a present. Put it up yesterday in the wind, whew, But the wind gusts were only up to 26 mph.
Really fun to have, now must order the rain gauge to go with. Yahooo

Weather stations are fun. At least you know they are correct, unlike the forecasters

Blue skies here, hard to believe that storm is coming.
Northeast Montana braces for new storm
