I remember when I was a kid, we visited a trout farm in South Dakota.....I caught 10 fish in 45 minutes. My father was not pleased - we had to pay for them!!

If it was Trout Haven at the corner of 385 and 44, you paid by the inch.

It's one of those places that they bait your hook, you stand on their doc over their private pond on private property. No license required. When I was a kid I never went there but was told it was 10 cents an inch.

I lived only 5 miles down the same creek that they had and we had 10 acres and the creek run right through the property. So I fished at home. hahaha

A lot of people used to stop there. No license required, kids who had never caught a fish before were guarenteed to catch a fish, so yes, tourists would stop and let the kids have a blast.
