Poor Timber
My old dashie has forgotten how to live in much rain and is acting like he doesn't know what to do in it...
Have you had flooding like this before EH. I laugh at our flood advisory, just puddles here.

The last time they flooded here was in 2005 and it wasn't anything like it did yesterday and today. I wasn't living here then.

Here are some more pics.

Sand bags in front of the shop, 2 days ago.

My steps and 4 wheeler. This is before water peaked. Water got above that bottom step by 2am this morning.

My driveway to the cabin. This picture taken this morning, again, water is a foot lower then it was at 2am.

Wow. A little more damp than strictly necessary!!

Wonder what it's doing along the Missouri? I remember one spring when all of Three Forks "old town" was underwater (this was before it got subdivided over there!), and several springs when most of Gibson Park in Great Falls was flooded. Fort Benton webcam didn't look like the water was particularly high, couldn't find one further upstream.

My house here sits at the peak of a slight ridge, so no matter how much it rains I never get flooded. So which spot, out of the whole blasted desert, did FEMA designate as a flood zone? You guessed it -- my place. Meanwhile, they delisted Edwards Dry Lake, which peaked at about 15 miles long this year (never seen it that big before).

I don't know. IN a 5 state region there were 233 tornadoes during the month of April. Just April. Seemed like a lot.

Been cleaning up debree all morning. Eat lunch and go back at it. But the water has subsided. River is still up 6 ft, however it's inside the banks now.
