Daughter is on her way back from Billings. Will visit with them for about 10, maybe 15 seconds and then jump in Ole Blue and head to the store. Need to pick up some frozen veggies, a hook (will explain), and some flour. Then I'm out of here.

Hook. I bought one of those upside down planters. Gotta hang it somewhere so figured a hook was needed. Going to put a cheery mator bush in it and see what happens. It's one of those "Only seen on TV" things that I picked up a Home Depot. Figured for $4. I'll give it a try. Curious what it will do.

If I have success, I'm going to find one for a weener calf to grow in. I figure if if one can grow plants upside down, then by golly I could feed a calf upside down. No weeds to contend with. Always craps in the same spot, don't have a whole corral to blade every year. A little water once a day, throw some cracked corn, oats and flax in there and it'll be good to go. Just trying to figure out if I secure the hooves to the planter, or just the tail? Tail makes more sense because we all know the hooves can't absorb any water. Plus it would give me a place to pour feed into.

Oh I have big plans. If this works, I'm thinking a couple weener pigs, maybe a goat or two, even some chickens. This way, the neighbor wouldn't have to fence them out because they wouldn't be wondering around. They'd take up no space at all.

River and creek are both down about 3 ft from where they peaked last weekend. However....

Forecast says:

Today: Chance of precipitation 90 percent.
Tonight: Chance of precipitation 100 percent.

Memorial Day: Chance of precipitation 100 percent.
Memorial Night: Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

They expect 3+ inches of rain in my area, today and tomorrow. Flash Flood Watch is out along with regular Flood Warnings.

I should never have sold my boat.

A boat is a hole in the water you pour money in.

The two happiest day in a boat owners' life is the day he/she bought the boat and the day he/she sells the boat!
