Today, I let the horses out to graze for a couple hours. When I went to put them in, I didn't step in one bit of mud. hahaha

I had to go to the doctor on Friday about my foot and the nurse did mention something about that.

On this day. My bar-b-que had to act as the urn as it does every year. I take last years flag, fold it properly, give it the respect do. I speak with my old friends that are no longer here. I then start the coals and get ready to have a great meal.

I've found through the years that some can argue, and win. But most don't argue at all. Some say that this country is going to hell. Course, it was when we laid them down. I've laid friends from Arlington to Chugwater. Some argued and it was their God given right. Some said very little, but made more sense. This year, as always, I say a little something over my brothers that have made this country great. It is an anniversary of the day our country was Born! I, remember those that made sure that our country would continue.

But for, a relatively new country, remember this:

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

Thomas Jefferson

To all. Happy Independence day.

Now that that's done, the potatoe salad is scrumptions. As well as the braughts, the burgers, the buns, the....... I think cheese cake is in order. hahahhaa

I will say this. Earlier this week I was invited to a gun shoot. (Invitation only) This is not the normal go out and plink cardboard, gun shoot. I do want my buddies to know that I can no longer ding them at 1000 yards. (I failed, miserably. But, By God, I took first place at 1500 yards. I can, however, ding em at 1500 yards. It doesn't appear to be a problem.

This was "Charlie Redfeather, talking to me type of gun shoot. Charlie was leaning over my shoulder, talking those bullets into the prime spot.

But one of the shooters brought some hooch in pint jars. It was good. Nough said. We drank it tonight. It came in a mason jar, so I know it was state approved. hahahhaha
