Now this is funny! My daughter's class had some visiting students from Japan, and they were talking about the differences of living in Japan and here. So, one student asked, "Do you have any guns?" The Japanese students were shocked...so, the teacher had the kids raise their hands for everyone who had a gun in the house, all the kids raised their hands. Then, the teacher asked how many had more than 10 guns in their house, most of the class kept their hands raised. The Japanese students looked like they were going to be killed. Cultural Differences, 101.

Let Elk Hunter, and other vets, know that VA Pharmacy co-payments can now be made online, at https://www.pay.gov

Or, you can just let them garnish your disability and then you have to make no effort what so ever.

Actually it works out very well. Say you use $100 a month in medication and you are behind by $300. When the VA garnishes, they'll take out what you typically use, plus a very small percentage. In the example, they'd garnish you for about $103. So it's not rediculous. They could take out 15% of your total disability check, but they don't.

Probably the ONLY Gov agency that is fair.

Thanks everybody, specially Seven.

It's been a rough last couple of weeks. Come down sick, got bad enough that a neighbor found me bottom side up at the bottom of the stairs. Meat wagon got me to town in no less then an hour and a half. Final results is a bad case of Bacterial Gastroentiritis. Few days with whatever they put in those bags (I dunno cause they gave me white ones, yellow ones, some they mixed, etc.) and they discharged me. The very next day I was in the Emergency room doubled up in pain. Now I'm home and I have a drain coming out the front of me. Shut up Rez. This drain is at the top of my stomach. Surgery consult is Friday to replace stuff they put in me 3 years ago. Trouble is, when they installed the first stuff, I was in the hospital over 3 months as a result. So I'm hoping that replacement parts go in easier.
