I know how you feel as I can't get any kosher bacon, otherwise known as beef frye or breakfast beef.

Sounds like there's a market waitin' to be tapped for some small butcher... if only you can find a small butcher in the first place!

No, no, no, who the hell showed up with a butcher only 3 feet tall??!

...Tell you what EH.................if I can get a couple of my bird huntin' buddies to go with me over to eastern MT for Huns & Sharpies in the next couple of months..................I'll bring some "side pork" with me and we can meet somewhere convienent.

Our local "IGA" market here in Hamilton has "side pork" available most all the time. Their "meat Dept" is the closest to "an old-fashion-butcher shop" that I've found here in western MT.

They are the only source for what they call "Poor-Man's Tenderloin". It's a cut of beef that comes from the shoulder......thus only "2-per-cow". ....It is a "non-working-muscle", and is about the size of a small banana. Just as tender as a prime cut sirloin and great on the BBQ grill (medium-rare).

Hope you're healin'-up quick-like.........hate to think you might miss out on huntin' season this fall. ....course 'ole "Dead-Eye-7" & her hubby could always get you one of those "prairie Mulies" for the freezer.

Ketch ya later...................

Damn that sounds good. It would have to be someplace I could get to on my 4 wheeler as my truck is in bad need of repairs.

Outstanding! I'm glad you can finally come home. 23rd isn't far away, so I'll bet the days are zipping by, specially with everything to get done before flying out. Welcome back.

Coffee's always on around here, so visit often.
