Not hardly, not after a jalapena or two in a salad. I buy 10-12 of these cans every month. It was nice to have "Fresh" jalapena for a change. This can is 28 oz.

In the big city of Billings tonight...wow, it is DRY here! The fields were yellow, brown on the way down. Okay...comparison of malls and shopping, Missoula vs. Billings...Missoula is more shopped out. Billings Old Navy had more clothes and sizes than Missoula and Great Falls. Billings has Eddie Bauer, Kohl's...definitely Billings is better for shopping. And we are going to Cabela's tomorrow.

Been to Laural and back twice this week. Learned a new trick today to not be checked by DOT at the scales. Just pull in there with your 800 gallon of road tac leaking. Pull up and stop on the scale, have the guy lean out the window and see tac dripping on his scale and then hear over the loud speaker, "Get that damn thing out of here and don't ever pull in here again." Drove 5 miles down the road and stopped and shut the valve and headed for Wyoming.

By the way, I did notice that Laural and Billings were dryer than I ever remember. I didn't get a chance to stop at Cabela's.

We got some baby chicks last spring. About a week or so ago, they started laying eggs. Some small, some big, some green, some brown, some multicolored, some speckled, etc. Today was the very first day that every chicken layed an egg. So I took some pictures:

This picture you can see 18 eggs and you can see the different colors that there area.

This picture, I took 3 eggs and put them on top of store bought eggs so you could see the difference. In the first paragraph I said "Green" eggs and you probably chuckled. Well, here ya go. Looke at the one on the left. Green. Speckled in the middle. Two tone egg on the right. These eggs have really rich yokes. Best darn eggs I've had since we got rid of the chickens 2 years ago. The eggs are getting bigger and more uniform.

I am so jealous of everybody's green garden thumb! My garden didnt do diddly squat this year.
Saw that can of jalapenos and my mouth started watering.. then I see the comment of jalapenos n cheese battered n fried... I'm like OOooooooooooooooo I am so hungry now!!! My mouth was watering,
Applied for my SSI/Disability via phone on Tuesday (2 hour call) .. dont know which one I will get if I am approved. I HOPE I am approved. Went to hospital on Thursaday to have an ultrasound of my heart and had some blood drawn at doc's office. Now I gotta sit and wait for a cardiologist to read the ultrasound and get back with my doc. Don't know how long that is going to be.
She thinking I may have CHF ( Congestive Heart Failure)...
The meds seem to be working. My BP is down.. reading last night was 137/82.... lowest it has been in months!!
However feet and legs stay swollen and sometimes turn bluish purple and I get out of breath easy.
Good thing I am not a horse or they would have shot me by now. hahah
Other than that.. same old stuff going on here.. which equals BORING!
Don't forget we have our "blue moon" tonight.
Hope everyone has a great and safe Labor Day weekend.
Talk to ya later!

I used to have chickens that laid green eggs too... so I could have green eggs and ham Aracana, I think the breed is called that lays green eggs. Some are a lot greener than that! There are chickens that lay red eggs, I forget the breed but the eggs are both milder and more flavorful (says the person who is a connoisseur of raw egg yolk )

Duck eggs come in funny colors too... green and blue!

I would be making develed eggs "My Way" ~~~
Use spicy german brown mustard and forget the paprika, use chile powder and curry powder instead.

When I make deviled eggs, I hard boil, shell and half them. The yokes go in the blender, along with mayo, oinions, jalapena's, chili powder, and spicy mustard. I then blend that up and scoop it back into the eggs that were halfed. A little paprika for color.

Rude. Maybe folks not from Montana need to know that school shopping is a major event, when the closest mall is four hours away. Most of my friends drive all the way to Spokane, where, by the way, if you show your Montana DL, you pay no sales tax.
